The pattern of the insert is Lorraine and it is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The resilvered frame is 10" in height and has a matching lid. The manufacturer's mark is F.B. The melon ribbed inverted thumbprint insert shades from a rich cranberry to a deep gold. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The ornate resilvered frame is 12¼" in height. BEAUTIFUL ENAMELED BLUE PICKLE CASTOR - This is a darling American Victorian pickle castor featuring a matching lid and frame. The insert is decorated with small enameled flowers and leaves. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks but does have a tiny fleck of flint and some minor wear to the the gold. The resilvered frame and lid does have some rough pitting which does not detract from this castor. It is 10" in height. The manufacturer's number is #263.

PICKLE CASTOR AMBERINA INVERTED THUMBPRINT - This is an all original American Victorian silverplate pickle castor. The amberina inverted thumbprint insert is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The picture does not do the vivid shading from cranbery to amber justice. The resilvered frame is 10½" in height. The manufacturer's mark is FB Rogers #419. There is no place to hang a tongs or fork.

PICKLE CASTOR CLEAR ETCHED FIGURAL CHERUBS - This is a great Victorian silverplate pattern glass pickle castor. The clear round insert has a quite unusual scalloped top and alternating diagonal patterns of etched leaves and frosted panels. The insert is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The resilvered frame is adorned with a figural cherub on each side and a figural flower and leaf on the front and back. It is 10 1/2" in height. The manufacture's mark is Simpson, Hall, Miller and Co. #85.

The cornflower pattern with amber stain insert is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The resilverd frame is 11¾" in height. The manufacturer's mark is Meriden B. #228. A great pickle castor for the Pomona collector.
