This is a quite unusual American Victorian blue mother of pearl brides basket as it has an acid finished. The diamond quilted bowl is excellent condition with no chips or cracks and has a polished pontil. The resilvered frame is 13" in total height. The manufacturer's mark is James W. Tufts #1952.
