This is an American Victorian silverplate pickle castor. It is extremely cute and features a clear swirl insert which is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The resilvered frame is 10½" in height and features a filigreed bird and leaves set in the handle. There is slight pitting where the bottom of the insert rests. The tongs are missing. The manufacturer's number is #0181
