This is a quite expressive American Victorian figural napkin ring. An angry arched back cat stares down on a dog with his two paws up on the ring. It has been resilvered. The manufacturer's is Merden Siler Co. #275. It can be viewed on Pg. 34 of Gottschalk and Whitson's book, FIGURAL NAPKIN RINGS. |
